As the spring season gardening system gets underway, we are taking a look back at my Fall and Winter garden. With a little more space, we were able to grow a bit more than usual given the limited amount of space currently.
With two 4 by 8 beds and a nice sized patio, we grew:
Amanda Leaf Lettuce
Garlic ( still in process )
Lemons ( still in process )
Seems like a lot of work, but I assure you, this season was rather easy. Still growing for only you and maybe another person is quite a bit. We found ourselves giving a lot away. I still need to get more into canning to preserve more harvests
Despite our yields growing, we still have a lot to learn about Fall gardening. Next time around, I will grow more of what I think I will eat, and diversify my plants a bit more. To inspire you, check out our Fall garden in review below. Be sure to follow me on Instagram

This is the garlic I started from seeds. be sure to use organic garlic if you are using the ones from the stores.
Here is another short look back about with some of my raised beds.
Below are a few harvests I have had.

My first substantial Fall harvest right before the Solstice. All this broccoli, kale and the big leaves are broccoli leaves I trimmed to encourage more heads to grow. I checked the store, and a head of broccoli is expensive. So this like $30 worth right here. #garden #gardening #vegetables #growfoodnotlawns #broccoli
Spring is right around the corner, and I have already planned my garden for the upcoming season. If you need help planning your garden, check out my Vegetable Garden Planner. It will help you get planning.
