Fall has officially arrived! I love making my house smell good, but artificial scents really make me sick. Normally, I get headaches with store-brought candles, wax melts, and even some incense. I learned that many of these products have harsh chemicals that emit fumes that can cause headaches.
These stovetop potpourri recipes are perfect for those that can’t handles those chemicals or simply want a different options, I urge you to try these recipes today.

Pumpkin Pie

Grapefruit Lemon & Rosemary

This recipe from NPdodge.com is a nice twist, with the addition of Grapefruit. 

Ingredients:
2 sprigs rosemary
½ of a lemon, sliced
½ of a grapefruit, sliced
1 tsp vanilla
2 cinnamon sticks

Cold Flu Stovetop Potpourri

This recipe comes from Fire Flies and Mud Puppies, which is a really creative blog name. 

Ingredients:

1 liter of water

5 oranges slices

1 tbsp whole cloves 

1 tsp dried rosemary

2 cinnamon sticks

3 drops of eucalyptus essential oil. 

Cinnamon, Cranberries, Peppermint

This recipes from from GabrielleTyler.com. I think this would be a great smell to try. Esepcially, the peppermint. 

Apple Cinnamon Vanilla

I love this one. I tried it , and I was hooked. This recipe comes from WintesteadWandering.com.
